Gemma is a fully and multi-qualified and highly experienced Chiropractor.
Gemma started out her career with undertaking the first year of a physiotherapy degree straight after school, but quickly realised this wasn't quite what she wanted to do. She had always wanted to have a hands-on job helping people, and discovered chiropractic after her father saw a Chiropractor following an ankle injury nobody else was able to improve.
Since graduation Gemma has worked in several multidisciplinary clinics and undertaken extra training in treating pregnant patients, sports injuries, dry needling and K-taping. She also enjoys incorporating her sport and exercise science degree into her treatment plans with the use of rehabilitation programmes.
She is fully qualified in treating patients of all age groups and backgrounds and treats the whole body using the most up to date and evidence-based treatment modalities to help alleviate pain and restore function.
Gemma used to play tennis for Dorset as a teenager and still occasionally plays for fun, as well as attending spin classes and getting out on walks. When she's not working, she's spending time with her three cats at home or seeing her family and friends.
